Macros are the building blocks of a well balanced diet: Protein, Carbs and Fat. “Counting Macros” simply means you are counting the number of grams of protein, carbs and fat to ensure you are “hitting your macros” or basically eating enough of each category to ensure your body is getting what it needs, nutritionally speaking.
My macro meal plan is filled with recipes that are protein focused and low fat. Think the opposite of a keto or low carb diet. I love the freedom that comes with counting macros. All the macro information is included in the nutritional information located at the bottom of every recipe card. So if you are new to a macro meal plan, I’ve done all the counting for you!
